Sports At Bliss International School

For true integrated growth to take place, our children’s physical self must be systematically developed. Sports facilities at our school include indoor games and outdoor sports. The sports curriculum is designed according to the needs of the different age groups. In the pre-primary classes, emphasis is laid on the development of gross motor skills, physical stamina, flexibility, balance, strength, hygiene, overcoming physical fears and hesitations and the development of team play. In the primary classes, games with rules become increasingly important. Team accomplishments complement individual goals for excellence. Gradually, skills of play and precision with mastery assume greater significance for students of the secondary and senior secondary classes. Indoor facilities will be made available for table tennis, chess, carom and gymnasium. Outdoor sports include basketball, tennis, badminton, football and athletics.

“Discipline is imperative in the interest of both the student and the school.”

  • The school maintains high ideals of discipline. The students are expected to be polite and courteous to their elders and teachers.
  • The students should come to school neatly dressed in proper uniform.
  • If the students indulge in any indiscipline, they will be severely dealt with such acts, if repeated, may lead to rustication from the school. The Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities by following the school rules and regulations. They should refrain from criticising teachers or school in the presence of the child. Violation / Disregard of the school rules or misbehaviour is viewed as a serious breach of discipline.
  • Once the student enters the premises, he/she will not be allowed to leave school without permission.

House System

The entire student population is divided into four houses to ensure a deeper sense of belongings, and a spirit of wholesome competition. The mottos of the respective Houses become their guiding force. All activities and academics of the students contribute to the performance of the Houses. Every specialized activity and event in the school is a competition among the four houses. Children become confident, initiative and competitive with such systematic, professional and customized practices. Every House symbolize a VEDA.
